Yuheng '玉衡' Ref.1335 represents both a renewal of our brand’s foundations and a homecoming. It is foundational, designed for the versatile rhythms of daily life; yet it transcends the basic, possessing a distinct and soulful artistic character.

Our core philosophy is distilled into few words: "The Essence of Refined Grace" (维此隽雅). This is more than a slogan; it is an ethos and a way of life. In contrast to the heavy "luxury narratives" prevalent in the watch industry, our proposition is lighter. It is about maintaining a standard and an attitude within a more relaxed context—being more rational, and more attuned to one's inner self.

On Design

We selected a 37mm case, a dimension that most faithfully defines "Refined Grace." It is neither loud nor overbearing; it sits as comfortably as a well-fitted shirt—just right. In this "Neo-Renaissance" era, returning to the "Perfect Fit" feels like a poignant choice.

The watch features a silver-grey frosted dial, adorned with a 1-24 double-row Arabic numeral scale—a rare sight in dress watches. It also carries the evolution of our signature cathedral hands: the "Twinkle Hand", an original design born from, yet breaking away from, traditional paradigms. Inside, it is powered by the reliable and durable SW261-1M mechanical movement. The case embodies our consistent design language, featuring the newly upgraded "Donut" bezel, complemented by multi-faceted polishing and brilliant chamfering.

On the Indices

While double-row 1-24 scales are often associated with military heritage, their origins go back further to the classic layouts of the pocket watch era—a style rooted in romanticism and classicism. We have modernized this heritage with a bespoke typeface, set against the delicate silver-grey frosted dial, lending a sense of historical depth to the simple act of reading the time.

From the sweep of every curve to the hands, crown, and typography, every element is a fresh, independent design that upholds Veritas’s signature "New Gentility" style. There are radical touches, yet they are tempered by an "academic" lineage, ensuring that the 1335 remains a versatile and "efficient" staple for any wardrobe. Furthermore, we have refined our operational logic, conducting seven iterations of testing prior to release to ensure that the majority of technical challenges are resolved before the watch reaches your wrist.
