Yuheng '玉衡' Ref.1516 marks the inception of the Yuheng series—it is our love letter to the world.

Alioth, known in ancient Chinese lore as ‘Lianzhen’, is the most radiant star within the Big Dipper. A timeless symbol of justice, authority, and wisdom, its eternal glow has guided generations of explorers through the unknown. Through this singular, pure creation, we hope its light resides upon your wrist, guiding you to maintain inner serenity and balance amidst the restless currents of time.

For the Yuheng 1516, we selected a white porcelain dial finished with mineral glazes typically reserved for fine enamel firing. Under the light, the refraction between the mirror-polished porcelain and high-transparency crystal creates a breathtaking visual: the numerals appear suspended in mid-air, evoking the ethereal beauty of a mirage.

The handset is a distinctive fusion of Cathedral and Sword styles, sculpted from solid blocks of high-lead carbon steel. Each set requires over eight hours of meticulous hand-finishing. Depending on the edition, we offer these in mirror-polished steel, heat-blued, or heat-purpled finishes.

The Officer’s caseback is a storied design inherited from the era of pocket watches, originally crafted to allow a glimpse of the movement while shielding it from the elements. While modern sapphire crystals perform this task with ease, we have retained this classic mechanism to evoke a profound sense of horological heritage and nostalgia.

Concealed beneath the finely radial-brushed cover lies a reimagined manual-wind movement. Built upon the legendary reliability of the ETA-7001, we have redesigned it with a 2/3 main plate adorned with wide Côtes de Genève and a hand-engraved balance bridge. The ratchet and crown wheels feature sunburst snailing and black polish, while the plate edges are finished with delicate hand-chamfering (anglage)—allowing the movement to dance with the light in a whisper of understated elegance.
